Having the procedure for a second time would only be necessary if there is new, and substantial submental fat development. Due to the loss of fat from Kybella injections, it is common for patients to experience loose skin in the treated area, and many will require other modes of treatment such as laser, or threads that will complement the Kybella treatment, by tightening the loosened skin and achieving the final desired appearance.
